Q: I think I have downloaded PCShowBuzz, but I can't find it. Where is it?

After you have downloaded the program, locate the folder where you saved the file. Once located, double click on the file to begin installation. 

If you could not remember or can not locate the folder where you saved the installation file: 

  1. Click on the 'Start' Button.
  2. Select Search and enter in pcshowbuzz10.exe.
  3. The search wizard will return the result of the search.
  4. Double click on the search results and you will then be able to locate the folder and begin installation of PCShowBuzz.



 
Q: How do I start to use PCShowBuzz?

After downloading and installing PCShowBuzz, you will be able to see an icon on your desktop.
Double click on it and the major screen of PCShowBuzz will be shown in a few seconds.

There is 5 different big buttons on the right side. They are:

1. 'Now Showing', which will display the main player screen after you selected a channel.

2. 'Channels', which will display channels that are avaliable on your selection.

3. 'Schedule', which will display the schedule that your had planned for.

4. 'Search', which contains the advance search and the simple search feature to help you to search for channels.

5. 'Options', which contains all the other settings of PCShowBuzz.

To start either you search a channel through the search feature or use the channel explorer to search through genre. The list of channels that you had search for will be displayed. Next click on the particular channel that you like and that channel will play shortly.

 
Q: How do I view in full screen mode?

Move your mouse to the player screen and double click. To exit full screen, press 'Esc' key on the keyboard.

 
Q: How do I search for channels in PCShowBuzz?

Click on the 'Search' button, type in the keywords that you want to search under 'Simple Search' then click on the 'Search' button. Your search will be processed and the results will be shown shortly.

 
Q: How do I close PCShowBuzz?

Go to the right-hand side of your task bar and find the small system tray icon of PCShowBuzz. Then right click on the icon and select 'Exit PCShowBuzz'.

 
Q: I have a firewall. Will PCShowBuzz work?

Yes. However you will need to change settings on your firewall to allow PCShowBuzz to access the internet.

 
Q: Does PCShowBuzz include programs with captions or subtitles?

No. PCShowBuzz does not provide captioning or subtitling services. Captions or subtitles may occur within individual channels.

 
Q: The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file ‘C:\Program Files\inKline Global\PC Showbizz dll” it is already opened exclusive by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

If you are using Windows XP, could you try to turn off the program and then try to open again. If this does not resolve the problem for you, please try the following:

1. Navigate to Program Files\inKline Global\PCShowBuzz
2. Locate and delete the file PCShowBuzz.ldb. If this file does not exist, do not do anything.
3. Try to open the program again.

If you are using Windows Vista, the problem that you have encountered is due to some file protection implemented by Microsoft.

To overcome the issue just follow the steps below:

1) On your windows desktop, right click on the PCShowBuzz shortcut icon.
2) Select the option "Run As Administrator"
3) Choose "Allow" and the program will be launched.
