Q:
What is and how do I use the Visual Day Planner Network Feature?
A:
The networking feature allows everyone on a network that has a copy of Visual Day Planner installed to share a planner. It allows everyone to access/modify a calendar you created or for you to access/modify other's calendar. We also offer a Read-Only version to restrict people from making changes to a calendar.

To use the network function in Visual Day Planner:

1. All you need to do is to open up a planner, the program will ask you what you want to open it as, pick Network. The two choices are Network and Personal.

2. Once you have the planner opened, go to a second computer and start Visual Day Planner. Make sure that you have access (both read and write) to the first computer on this second computer.

3. On the second computer, open up the planner file that is stored on the first computer and also pick network when it asks you what to open it as.

4. You can type anything you want in each of the computers but you will need to hit refresh in order to see what other people has updated (there is an auto refresh which you can set to refresh by how many mins).

5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 to set up for the third, fourth computers and so on.
